The College is seeking applicants for anticipated openings for part-time adjunct faculty in the History Department.
Position Description The department typically hires adjunct faculty to teach classes for the subject areas listed below, but this list is not all inclusive.
Other subject areas may become available within the department.
Illustrative needs or job duties include but are not limited to teaching courses in the following subject areas: Ancient or Modern World United States Africa Asia Europe Latin America Middle East Required Qualifications Master's Degree in History or a related field from an accredited US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution.
Preferred Qualifications Doctorate in History or a related field from an accredited US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution.
Specialization in Ancient or Medieval History Significant teaching experience.
Salary $2400 per 3 credit hour course.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
